Crush

This week's Sunday Scribblings prompt is 'Crush'. I wasn't going to do it because I am doing an uninterrupted flow of posts solely for the 'Soul Window' Lamp ... but today I thought I would incorporate 'Crush' into that flow.

To have 'a crush' ...

Does

that

mean

to be

transparent

invisible

unable to hide

in the longing shadow

of unspoken feelings.

?

Or

Is it

to be

clear

light

and

deeply

knowing

in the shadow

of that which awaits

inevitable confirmation

?

Whatever it means

does not concern me.

I would not crush a flower.

I would not crush a butterfly's wings.

I would not use that word
