Interesting reflections in your haiku.
I often feel the 'real world' is a lot like that. All just reflected in my mind, probably all made up.
I loved this, Elspeth... sometimes I wonder who that other person is in the mirror...

My youngest grandson had the hardest time with this! I still see him look back at the mirror as he walks away.

I like the idea of the two selves -- the one seen by the eyes, and the one that is unseen but always there.
