Dry season is here
Green turns to brown turns to dust
I prefer the rain

(We don't have spring, summer, autumn or winter. We just have two seasons: wet and dry).

This reminds me of the two seasons in Malawi, or possibly three there (hot; wet; cold). It's a long time since i was there, now...

A hard choice to make..between dry and wet. I quess wet, 'cause then there is growth.

Did sound like Florida. "Green turns to brown turns to dust" a good visual. I, too, prefer wet.

"green turns to brown turns to dust": the repetition reflects the inevitability of aridness, and nicely explains your preference for the rain!
